Blockforest is the pseudonym of Mike Black, a UK-based freelance printmaker, artist and graphic designer.

Having always been drawn to folkloric and fantastical stories, his body of work reinterprets and reimagines dark subjects often with a whimiscal and devilish twist.

Produced mostly by hand in his South Devon studio, using traditional equipment and materials, he produces an ever-evolving collection of limited and open edition linocut prints and paraphernalia.

He is available for both personal commission or commercial hire.
